Justin Bieber will play a series of stadium shows next summer and one of them will be in Foxborough. Bieber announced Monday he'll perform at Gillette Stadium Aug. 29 — that's a Tuesday, in case you're wondering — as part of his "Purpose Tour." It'll be Bieber's first time performing at Gillette as the headliner. In 2010, he opened for Taylor Swift on her "Fearless Tour" stop in Foxborough. (It was then, you'll recall, during a screening of "Get Him to the Greek," Bieber was tossed from the Lux Level seating area at the Showcase Cinema de Lux at Patriot Place because the area is reserved for 21-plus patrons.)
