Sonakshi Sinha blocks Sona Mohapatra after the actors vs singers debate

After Sonakshi Sinha's war of words with Armaan Malik, the actors versus singers debate seems to be far from. In the latest development, the 'Noor' actress recently blocked singer Sona Mohapatra on Twitter.

The debate started when Sonakshi was rumoured to perform at Justin Beiber's Mumbai concert. Armaan had then put out a tweet saying, "Agree with @Kailashkher sir! Actors are actors & singers are singers. Leave the stage & mic to us, that's our playground not yours." The actress did not take kindly to this and posted a series of tweets to express her displeasure. One of them read, "A secure artist would always encourage another artist to grow their skills and follow their dreams. Art in any form should not be suppressed." However, Sonakshi later clarified that she was not a part of the Justin Bieber concert.

While the fire was yet to be doused, Sona jumped to Armaan's rescue and shared a series of tweets aimed at Sonakshi. Sona tweeted, "Dear Sonakshi, Nationif you weren't 'performing' at the Bieber concert like you now proclaim, then u could have just said so & not talked about your 'art', your 'dreams' & your rights on the live performance stage. Also insulting a composer & live artist who you claimed literally ran after you to 'collaborate' with them. You actually laughed at them & talked down to them, instead of telling the truth? Gracious!"

Outraged by this, Sonakshi blocked the singer. Sona, on her part, took a snapshot of it and posted it on her handle with the message, "Hahahaha! Not that I'd ever follow this bundle of talent, grace & intelligence."
