THE DREADFUL DIARIES : Knee deep once moreWell, it's crunch time - got a month to get the thesis ready for corrections, which means head down and getting some work done. For once - facebook is going to have to take a break from me for a while!
Nothing really new happening in Penny Towers - we celebrated the birthday of the boy recently, in traditional style - drinking in a pub - we chose the Grand Social to descend on. Which was filled with burlesque dancers and a lady wearing a tiger print bathmat at as a dress....as you do. Still it was fun and good time hopefully had by all. I am sad to think that it was one of my last times wearing heels before my operation in October - still it would be nice to get some time off from ankle-breaking-territory for a while! I do like my high heels.
So I'm off to Cork this afternoon and then up to Dublin for a day, I didn't mind the travelling before but now I feel guilty as it's a days research I'll loose. Oh well....could be worse - the level of guilt when I'm on facebook is worse - at least I have to travel, like it or not.
Sigh....here I go then!
