The World Health Organisation(WHO) has said on Wednesday that the number of new Ebola cases has risen in Guinea and Sierra Leone for the second consecutive week.
15 new cases were found in Sierra Leone and 16 in Guinea for the week ended June 7.
WHO also voiced concern that the areas affected in Guinea have increased with two new cases confirmed in Conakry, Guinea's capital which had been Ebola free in 3 previous weeks.
3 new cases were identified in Guinean region of Kondia.
Meanwhile the Italian Health Ministry has said the Italian nurse, Stefano Marongui who contacted Ebola while working in Sierra Leone with Medical Charity Emergency has been cured and has left the hospital. He had spent the last month at Spallanzani Infectious Diseases Clinic in Rome receiving treatment.
